I admit it, and not only do I admit it, I'm damn proud of the fact. As a kid I spent a lot of time in English classes while my teachers tried desperately hard to teach me to lie effectively, and I would like to thank them for their efforts. This little bit of crazyness is my tribute to those brave individuals (especially you, Mrs. Bindulicular) who have devoted their lives to teaching kids how to be untruthful - all for a higher purpose, of course - that of creating fiction.
Sooooo... here's the deal. I make fantasy jewelry and fantasy artifacts. The way my brain works, I end up imagining a story or a tall tale, then making the key object that would come from that story, if the story were real - almost as if I were making props for an imaginary movie.
This is very entertaining for me, but it makes me weep because I put the stories up with the pictures on my Etsy website, but, once I sell an item, nobody gets to enjoy the story anymore. So I have decided to collect them all together here.
This is the index page for my cyber anthology.
Oh, P.S. - One of my fovorite poets, Pierre Chatmondeaux (1783- 18 51) has been woefully neglected by literary historians and the French Academy of Writers and Poets. I have therefore decided to locate as many of his poems as possible, translate them from their original French (a language which would probably be very beautiful if I could understand it), and collect them in one place for posterity. Be sure to watch for them as they turn up!
